Cover...EXC. Single fold heavy card. Recent sellotape along top. No ring wear. Small pencil price rear top left. Carl Perkins signature on front. Clean and solid.
Vinyl...EXC. Matrix numbers SU-121-250, SU-122-251. Minimal scuffs. Minimal background noise. Record lies flat . Plays well. Sounds great. Labels have sticker removal...See photos.
About that ' Carl Perkins ' signature, there's always a story is'nt there, and that's all we've got. We bought several records from an American ex-GI living in Greenock who used to do door duties at some clubs in the USA at the time of Perkins, Presley et all. The musicians on some occassions gave a signed copy of their Long Player to the guy at the door. Perkins wrote something else under his signature which we can't make out. We definitely cannot afford to authenticate this signature and the best we can do is include a compilation photo of several of his signatures from various years of his life. He would've been about 26 at the time of this Dance Album. Hope all this helps you make your own mind up, but whatever, this LP is worthy to be in a top notch collection, they don't come as good as this so often.
