 Here is the first Sun single by Carl Perkins, his next would be the monster hit "Blue Suede Shoes". This record is a great early rocker, a real rockabilly treasure. The record plays beautifully, does not skip. A slight hiss is audible like on most early Sun singles. Yes, the pushmarks are evident. The first is to the bottom left of the "S" in Sun. The second is  below the "N" in Sun inside the last two rays. The third is between the first "Gone," and the second "Gone". The numbers in the trail-off are: A-side: 45-U-95; B-side: 45-U-94.

 

 I rate the record as a VG++ because I try and see the defects before seeing the positive in a record. Most people glance and call it Mint and will stick you with a VG or worse record. The A-side label is super clean, the b-side has slight wear around spindle hole. The vinyl has superficial marks (a scratch is something you can feel!). This record plays beautifully!!!

 

*For some reason the color is the first two pictures is off. Please refer to the 3rd and 4th to see that the label is in fact a bright yellow.

 

 Look for other rare 45's and Lp's I will be listing, most in extraordinary condition. From 1950's & 1960's Rock & Roll to Doo wop to Rockabilly to Soul, I'm going to list it all!
