You are bidding on a rare, vintage, original LP record album by Carl Perkins, "Dance Album", on the Sun record label, #LP 1225 from the year 1957. The jacket is in good condition on the front cover. There is general light surface wear and light soiling but not too bad. The colors are generally still vibrant and the photo of Perkins is excellent. The back cover has general light soiling of the white background. The top edge of the jacket has a one and one half inch split from the upper right hand corner toward the middle. The upper left hand corner has a two inch split going toward the middle. The left hand edge, or spine, is split from the top, 4/5 of the way down. The bottom edge has a two inch split exactly in the middle and a one half inch split at the very right hand bottom edge. There is other light corner and edge wear. Despite this critical description for the serious record collector, the LP front cover is presentable and would be nice for display. It would be great until you could upgrade to a better copy, (if ever!) The disc is a much better story. Side one is very good if not tremendous with only some very minimal light scratching, observable under intense light. The label is awesome. There is a triangle and the number 250 in the trail off vinyl. Also is "SU-121". Side 2 of the vinyl is also tremendous with only some very, light, minimal scratches, and these must be discovered by intense scrutiny under intense light. The bright yellow Sun label is truly awesome. In the trail off vinyl is a triangle and the number 250 and SU-121. This disc, wben viewed, could be described as breathtaking. Because of the value of this record, I am requiring $4.00 for insurance.
