The actual 45 looks as if has been barely played, but it does have some surface dirt on it, which I did not clean off for fear of damaging it. There are no visible blemishes on the surface. The record label is in excellent condition with no visible rubbing on the inside rim. The record is encased in a hard, cardboard like, picture sleeve. The sleeve is in excellent vintage condition, where only two corners are rounded (I am sure this could be flattened with pressing), and a small wrinkle crease is beginning to appear in the bottom right corner. I am not sure of the age of this record, but the back mentions 1956 ("This is the record that sky-rocketed Carl to fame in 1956.") This rarity will only increase in value! This is an absolute treasure, and a MUST HAVE for the collector!
