Das Cover hat an den Kanten und Ecken MINIMALSTE (!!!) Abnutzungserscheinungen. Eigentlich nicht der Rede wert! Desgleichen das Einlegeblatt mit den Texten. Das Vinyl sieht im Großen und Ganzen auch hervorragend aus. Man kann latente Oberflächenspuren erkennen, beim Abspielen hat es aber keine Auffälligkeiten gegeben. Ich habe die Platte im Erscheinungsjahr 1991 erworben und zur damaligen Zeit durchaus öfter abgespielt. Seit ca. 2000 habe ich keinen funktionierenden Plattenspieler mehr, ergo fristeten alle, meine Vinylscheiben ein klägliches Dasein im Plattenschrank! ;-) Ich habe mir erst vor gut einer Woche einen Plattenspieler auf Leihbasis zulegen können, um die hier angebotenen Scheiben noch mal Probe zu hören. Übrigens habe ich in einem Interview mit Jeff Walker, Bill Steer und Ken Owen gelesen, dass die Musiker vehement abstreiten, Carcass mache Grindcore! Okay, das muss man dann wohl so akzeptieren! Carcass sind einmalig und absolute Meister in dem, was sie machen, wie immer man das nennen mag! ;-)
Das Vinyl befindet sich übrigens noch in einer gefütterten Innenhülle. Versand erfolgt in einem Innen- und Außenkarton.

All in all I would say the vinyl and the cover are in a very good condition. There are light traces on the surface of the vinyl but I haven´t heard any background noise. Also the needle hasn´t skipped any time while playing the record. I´ve purchased the record in the year of release and I do have played it several times. However since 2000 I don´t have a working record player anymore and so the "poor" records carved out a miserable existence in the rack! (Thanks God, there are online dictionaries! ;-D ) I have just obtained a record player - actually I borrowed it - to be able to judge the condition of my offered items by hearing and not by sight alone! By the way I read in an interview with Jeff Walker, Bill Steer and Ken Owen these musician disagree that Carcass plays Grindcore! Well, I guess, I have to accept that! Sure, Carcass is unique! And they are masters in what they do, whatever you want to call it!
All my records are stored in a padded inner sleeve. And I will ship the records inside these padded inner sleeves and of course inside their original covers. And everything else which belongs to the record like OIS and info sheet as far as available. Everything is packed into an inner cardboard and into a stable shipping carton.
Shipment charges: This is unfortunately a very uncomfortable topic!!!
You can choose between various services of Deutsche Post. The best one is the most expensive...certainly! By all means I recommend you registered mail as minimum service! You can track registered mails online and it works fine for most EU countries. Postage is 9,15 EUR. However registered mail is only covered up to 25.- EUR in case the mail gets lost! 8-o
Depending on how high your winning bid is it is probably advisable to use insured letter international ("Wertbrief international") as shipment service! 11,15 EUR. Covers goods up to a value of 100.- EUR. Next level is 200.- EUR for 13,15 EUR postage!
Everything heavier than 1000 gram and/or worth more than 200.- EUR should be shipped as an insured parcel (= 15,99 EUR postage)! It´s crazy I know! Please complain about these prices at Deutsche Post AG! ;-)
Please understand that I cannot take liability for lost items if they are insufficiently insured!
