Description
A rare opportunity to purchase an original pressing of this outstanding debut psychedelic/prog rock album from Caravan.
This is a stereo copy,cat.no. SVLP 6011,released on the "Verve" label in 1969. It did not sell in any great quantities at the time, but over the years it has gained in reputation and is now an extremely sought after LP.
The condtion of the front of sleeve i would describe as "Excellent".It has some slight creasing and wear at the corners, but the spine and sides are still in a clean, unbroken condition. The rear of the sleeve i would grade as "Very Good +" as some slight wear is visible due to the fact that it is not clarifoiled.
The record is :
"A" SIde: Excellent in sound and appearance.
"B" Side: Very Good+. I have had to mark this side down, because of 3 small blemishes (which can be seen in picture 5),on track 3. Tracks 1 and 2 play to "excellent",but on track 3 at 1 min.10/20 secs. a slight click can be heard.(in all honesty, hardly audible.) At 2 min.20/35 secs. the click is more noticeable, but not too obtrusive. The 3rd blemish, for some reason, does not seem to be noticeable.
The overall sound quality and appearance is still superb, but please be aware of the above.
As always when i sell any second hand records,i offer a no quible guarantee,if you feel the condition and my description is inaccurate. However, the records are always carefully cleaned and listened to 100%,through head phones. Also, please check out my feed back for previous records that i have sold.
Many Thanks!
