Caravan 'For Girls Who Grow Plump'.
Original UK Deram red label stereo first press LP.
The fifth LP by Caravan with the earliest P-*-3U P-*-3U 1st issue matrices and red label with ''stereo'' appearing below the spindle hole & the title of track 4 is miss-spelt on the label as ''C' Thlu''! The Robert Stace front laminated gatefold sleeve is intact & in EX condition, with some light edge/corner wear on the outer cover and some light laminate rubbing and a couple of small laminate creases on the outer cover. The spine is intact, but slightly crushed and fully readable and the Decca company inner is intact & in EX condition. The record is in visually EX condition, with only a couple of faint sleeve removal hairlines and one or two small needle marks visible on each side. The labels are in EX condition, clean & bright with evidence of a couple of faint spindle markings! The sound reproduction is EX+, still clear & precise throughout with no loud hiss, pops or crackle & definately no skips, sticks or jumps, but there is some brief low background noise during the run in grooves, overall a really great, loud & punchy listen! The matrix nos. are; ZAL-12551-P-*-3U stamper 3C-BB, ZAL-12552-P-*-3U stamper 2B-BH. This is one of the early copies of the 1st pressing of the original 1973 UK stereo issue of this album!
All records are checked on an Acoustic Research deck before being listed and any flaws noted in the listing, so if you have any problems with the record please contact me for a full refund of original price & postage on return of the record (no partial refunds), no quibbles, no problems!! All grades are those used in the Record Collector Guide. All lp's are sent in cardboard record mailers with plastic covers and cardboard stiffeners to protect the LP's!! UK Signed For Postage is £4.50 for the first LP & is the same for up to four single LP's or two double LP's or more up to 2 KG!,
Will post to Europe (including all EU countries & Russia, Finland, Sweden, etc.) and Rest of the World (USA, Japan, Australia, Korea etc.), but airmail is limited to 5 or 6 lp's due to weight restrictions.
