VLP 6011 - UK 1969

First Press

AN ELUSIVE PROGMONSTER!!!! THE FIRST TIME I EVER HAD THIS IN MONO!!!!IMPOSSIBLE TO FIND NOW!!!! Yes, this IS an ORIGINAL UK MONO copy of their very first LP!! Produced by Tony Cox, the band at this time consisted of Richard Coughlan, Pye Hastings, David Sinclair, and Richard Sinclair.

THIS WAS CARAVAN'S FIRST & RAREST LP EVER (AND IS ONE OF THE RAREST UK PSYCH LPs EVER RELEASED!) AND SIMPLY NEVER TURNS UP FOR SALE!!!!  JUST TRY AND FIND ANOTHER ONE!!!!  BACK IN 1969 WHEN THIS LP WAS RELEASED, IT ONLY EVER SOLD IN ABSOLUTELY TINY AMOUNTS AND WAS ALMOST IMMEDIATELY DELETED!!!!JUST LISTEN TO 'MAGIC MAN' AND YOU'LL KNOW THIS IS AMONG THE GREATEST SONGCRAFT EVER PRODUCED!!!!!!!!!!!!

The one and only copy I have ever come across in over 30 years, this is MEGA MEGA RARE...................................!!!!!!!!!!!

Vinyl: I have played this in full> There are NO jumps and NO sticks!!! There are , however quite a few hairlines and this would visually grade VG. On replay there is quite a bit of static to be heard. There is the odd pop and click here and there but it plays through in full. Again VG as it stands. It would definitely improve on further spins as this record has most definitely not been played for many years. This, I am sure will improve after your preferred clean. I was tempted to clean it on my personal cleaner but I'm aware that not everyone would approve so I will leave it to the winner.

Sleeve: VG. quite a bit of creasing esp. near the opening. This has three flipbacks to the back. the front is laminated as are the flipbacks. The front has a name in ballpoint. The corners have moderate wear.Light laminate lift near the spine only in 2 places, very minimal in fact.

Labels: EX.  both labels have a name in ballpoint.

This is a unique investment opportunity!!! Finding this album in any condition at all is nearly impossible so late in the day.

Labels are EX with  minor spindling. NO writing NO marks.

Once again this is not one for the perfectionist and not of audiophile grade. If that's what you're after you should not bid. This is, however, an ultra rare mono album which is on many a want list and as such is an investor's object.

Important :International postage will be registered and insured.  Postage will be according to Royal Mail rates. Postage is NOT a money spinning exercise for me.

Though there are rarely ever any problems with my items, I always try my very best to describe everything exactly!  PLEASE REMEMBER to contact me FIRST,  if you have any problems at all, before you leave feedback and star ratings, so I get a chance to turn any negative experience into a positive one!  I can always happily sort anything out for you, if you let me know you have a problem!  This way no one has to leave Negative/Neutral feedback - and we both walk away happy! Similarly with the amount of stars, anything less than a full 5 * rating is effectively detrimental to a seller's rating as lower ratings will incur higher Final Value Fees  and lower priority in the bidlists eventually making it unattractive to list items on Ebay at all. I know of at least one major previous Ebay seller who has decided not to list via Ebay again. Please do NOT bid if you cannot give me at least 1 chance to sort everything out to your FULL satisfaction in the unlikely event of a problem.  Thanks again!!

This an excellent investment opportunity!!! Any questions please ask me and I will try to answer soon.
