Captain Rapp

Real Name:- Larry Earl Glenn
Profile:- Hip hop - post-disco rapper - songwriter    Famed for being one of the first West Coast rappers to appear on wax. (The rapper Casper was before with "Groovy Ghost Show Part 1", but even if the record was on a West Coast label - he wasn't.)   He is best known for his politically conscious song "Bad Times [I Cant Stand It]", which was a West Coast  response to Grandmaster Flash's "The Message". The single was arranged and performed by emerging Contemporary R&B moguls Jimmy Jam and Terry Lewis with Rich Cason.    In 1992, Glenn recorded a sequel to his previous hit single, titled "Bad Times, Part 2: The Continuance."

  • Mint - I will not grade Mint unless I am absolutely sure I have not played the record more than once. Vinyl & Labels have NO blemishes

  • Mint Minus [N.M.] - Label and Vinyl looks perfect and plays perfect

  • Excellent - Vinyl has virtually no blemishes, may have minor fine superficial marks Plays Perfect.

  • VG plus - Has the odd superficial mark but plays without any surface noise or skips or crackles. Very close to Excellent. May have sticker

  • VG - Same as above but may have more marks. But still plays without skips or surface noise.

  • GOOD  more noticeable marks than a VG+ but has no skips or jumps. May have SLIGHT surface noise
