Captain Beyond, formed by drummer Bobby Caldwell, with Rod Evans vocals (Deep Purple), guitarist Larry "Rhino" Reinhardt & bassist Lee Dorman (both from Iron Butterfly) is by far the MOST overlooked and under appreciated Hard Rock Super Groups of all time. This debut album is a Progressive Rock Masterpiece & a timeless musical journey.

The 1976 Japan VIP Pressing, Audiophile Quality LP of Captain Beyond - Self Titled 1st album on Capricorn Records  ?  This was released as a VIP Pressing for good reason. It's simply the Best - High Quality pressing of this incredible LP you will ever spin on your Turntable….hands down. Never released in Japan with the 3-D Lenticular art cover at any time.

Playback Condition Vinyl LP:  EX+  Near flawless playback. Full, Rich, Clean and Powerful
Jacket Condition LP:  EX+  No Record Ring, Solid Corners, no bends or dings.
OBI Condition LP: EX   VERY Hard to find this LP anywhere with the OBI still included...much less in EX or better condition. ALL original Inserts included as well EX+
 
PLUS  an Insanely Limited 7" EP 4 track pressed on Solid Gold Colored Vinyl. ONLY 500 ever pressed & long Out Of Print. New, Factory Sealed Near Mint.  It features the previously unreleased song Uranus Expressway pressed Purple Pyramid Records . Also A2 - Astral Lady, B1 - I Can't Feel Nothin' Part 1 and B2 - I Can't Feel Nothin' Part 2  Condition = Factory Sealed New NM
 
PLUS  Hand Autographed, Bobby Caldwell -  VIC FIRTH Drum Sticks!  Purchased at a Live Captain Beyond concert at City Winery in Boston MA on 7/6/2018. These drum sticks were used / played by Bobby at a Captain Beyond live performance. Still sealed in the CB tagged bag. NOT many of these out there....
 
PLUS  To make the deal even sweeter, I am including a "Bonus Freebie" my own CD-R Repo of the self titled Captain Beyond LP. Includes an additional 40 minutes of great Deep Purple - Best Of tracks.
