Captain Beefheart and the magic band Clear Spot Rare 1972 US PROMO LP w/pvc clear embossed logo cover! signed by PAT and PAM. see note below. original. White label promo Captain Beefheart Clear Spot. Vinyl is in VG+ and would be EXC except for writing on side 1 label "pam". The plastic outer sleeve has an 8" seam split and inner sleeve a 4" seam split. REPRISE MS-2115. the cover is/was a single solid sheet of hardstock placed in the clear pvc wrapper with a straight printed inner. Back of cover has writing on it. see close ups. "pat breene - sugar daddy" and "caretaker - pam mcneeley" have been added in ink to the credits on back. (no idea who's hand it's written in) but "PAM" is written in hand on one of the labels which makes it possibly a copy once owned by "Pamela Zarubica—LA
friend"? who's name appears
on zappa's freak out album list of contributors.

Vinyl grading is usually based on the Goldmine standard and is as follows:
“SS” Still Sealed – For the collector that demands nothing but perfection.
“M” Mint - a near perfect, or unplayed record.
“NM” Near Mint - in factory fresh condition, like new.
EX+ - close to like new with only superficial signs of use that don't affect play. Will satisfy all but the most vain and demanding collector.
EX - a used, reasonable copy. Shows slight signs of wear.
VG+ - There will be obvious signs of wear and the possibility a few skuffs and/or light surface noise between tracks or during quiet passages, but still quite nice.
VG - significant wear and marks and usually quite noticeable surface noise,still plays great.
Good - In the record world, "Good" is not good! From here on down, we're talking about beat-up records!
