Both records in this double LP gatefold are in fantastic condition with just a few minor blemishes, only visible under bright light or at a squint, over the four sides and with NO SCRATCHES whatsoever. Since picking this up last week I've listened to it just once to make sure it plays from front to back, which i can confirm it does - and very well, too, and although I'm certain it's been listened to numerous times during it's now 50 years in existence, the surface/contact noise heard throughout has remained at a bare minimum and is *barely* noticeable for at least 85% of its 1hr 19min runtime. Emphasis on the word BARELY. I'd rather not risk cleaning it myself (I've never cleaned a record and I'm not about to start with this rare beauty!), but If you're in the know and you possess the right tools for cleaning vinyl records I'm sure what little surface noise is on here would lift right off. It is on this basis that I've graded both records NEAR MINT / EXCELLENT.

Inevitably, the thin card sleeve shows its signs of aging mostly around the corners and along the spine. Nothing more than generic wear and tear for a half century old record with no major rips or tears or even sticker removal marks. There are two slight tears in one of the paper inner sleeves (approx 1cm and the other 2cm give or take) but otherwise it's all in excellent condition and includes a plastic outer sleeve. I've read from several sources that lead me to believe that even with the condition of the inner sleeve this could pass for EXCELLENT but as I'm aware this is a 'grey area' I've stuck at VERY GOOD PLUS.
