Description

Trout Mask Replica by Captain Beefheart and His Magic Band published by Straight STS 1053, 1969 Original Double LP.  Inscribed and Signed by Captain Beefheart on front cover.

The two records can be classed as Very Good, they both play through, although there is a few crackles here and there, an over enthusiastic previous owner has written his name on the labels. The cover is in Good condition, with some rubbing to edges, and front panel, again the previous owner's name on the inside top and bottom corners.  Inscribed " To X ****** Van Vliet 75". I bought this record in the early 1990s when I ran a used book and record store in Leeds, as part of a large Captain Beefheart and Frank Zappa collection, from the deceased owners brother, who said that his brother Donny, had got it signed when Beefheart had played Leeds University in March 1975.  I have never seen another signed copy of this classic album come up on ebay before, this would make an amazing present for any Beefheart fan, and would look great framed.
