Very hard to find original 1st press 1972 german "Reprise Records"- release!
Rarest variant of the first "Clear Spot" issue! The later pressings and reissues look similar to the original, but they have the title ‘logo’ printed on the top of the insert card in black, the originals do not. The originals have the title ‘embossed’ on the flap of the envelope style clear outer, the reissues do not – in fact often they do not even have the fold over flap, just a plain plastic sleeve - and the originals are pressed on noticeably heavier vinyl, typically around 130 g-140 g (this copy has a weight of 138 g), whereas re-issues are around 110 g-115 g. The heavier original vinyls have the 1A & 1B matrixes, the lighter vinyl reissues more often 2A & 2B.
Record with handscribed matrixes plays NM!
Original clear plastic-sleeve with insert-card in Ex ++ condition - only minimal signs of ageing (slight soft surface-crease on lower right corner of insert-card, sleeve with one slight discoloured edge)!
