Capitol ZS-35780 Beethoven Violin Concerto in D, Opus 61; David Oistrakh, violin; André Cluytens conducting French National Radio Orchestra. 4 track 7.5 ips.
NOTE: Tape auditioned in its entirety; the tape has edge rippling for the first five minutes, causing tape-to-head contact issues on some machines. Tape was tested on a dual-capstan machine using high tension setting and played quite well; after first five minutes it played perfectly, with robust, detailed sonics. Side 2 plays perfectly. Box is excellent 9/10, with light soiling.
