Description

Cannonball Adderley/Miles Davis - Somethin' Else

Catalog # Blue Note - 1595

RVG is stamped into both sides of the dead wax, and the ear is present on both sides. There is no "trademark R" on either side of the labels. 47 W. 63rd on both the label, and the back of the sleeve. Deep groove on both sides of the record. 1956 original 1st Mono pressing...

Media = VG. Wax is clean, and still has some gloss for being 63 years old. There are some light marks on either side, most of which cannot be felt with a fingertip, and the few that can be felt are not super deep. I have play tested both sides of the album. Side A has a few light crackles leading into Autumn Leaves that dissipates as the track gets going, and there was a small skip toward the middle of Autumn Leaves, as well. During Love For Sale the only significant negative were a few revolution ticks toward the middle that come on, then disappear after a couple of revolutions. Side B plays SIGNIFICANTLY better than Side A. There were no skips, or massive noise on Side B, the only significant flaw being pops toward the beginning of Dancing in the Dark. Not bad; a totally middle of the road original copy.

Sleeve = G. The sleeve's artwork presents well on the front of the sleeve. It has some discoloration in the white letters in the words Somethin' Else on the front of the sleeve. There is no writing, and there are no splits in the sleeve, at all. There is some staining on the back of the mostly white sleeve, as well. Please scope out the pics. Still presents well when inside of a sleeve...

All lps are visually graded only unless specifically stated.

I grade using Goldmine Standards.

I use brand new mailers, sleeves, and inserts to make sure your record lands your way in the same shape it was sent out in.

Rest assured, I know how to package, as well as how to accurately grade an LP. Please check my feedback if that is something you’re worried about.
