Description

An original 1st press of BOOGIE on UK Blue Liberty from '68. Matrix A2/B1. Beautiful 1st mono pressing from 1968 - I can assure you it doesn't get better than this! Worth going for a 1st copy Liberty pressing as they are amazing for audio and are pressed super chunky. The vinyl comes housed in an original front laminated MONO cover with pinched spine. We also have an original inner sleeve. So, 100% genuine and 100% complete.
Vinyl (Ex+) In super condition and has only seen really light use. Under close inspection I could only make out a couple of superficial marks per side - nothing remotely troublesome. A thorough testing from beginning to end reveals a mostly EXCELLENT+ level of playback. No kidding this copy is amazing. Crack open a can of lager and turn it way up! This baby is gonna sing... It is literally a perfect copy. I'm not getting a whiff of background. It sounds really like the band are THERE.... the presence you get from a near master copy. Is the mono format helping? Not sure....All I can say is it whatever it is... The combination is mighty impressive. The audio is to die for. I'm struggling to think of another copy, ANY COPY, in this genre which is capable of belting it out like this. FINAL UPGRADE. Cannot fault.
Cover (Ex) Now, just when you think I'm about to land you with a big "BUT"....guess what..? There is NO BUT. Take a look at this cover...Freaky Deaky... the front is flat with super lamination and no colour degradation. Just a couple of minor thumbnails at the opening. But the real clincher is the rear. Technically speaking - the rear should, in nearly ALL cases, be exhibiting some ageing of some description at this point. But here's the weird thing - the rear is perfectly white. No need to adjust your sets folks - those whites are REAL [no trickery]. I had to keep double checking in case I was missing something. But I'm not - this is genuine '68! Minimal edge wear and sharp openings. The spine is 100% intact. Four pointy corners. Overall the cover retains excellent rigidity. Good luck bettering this bad boy!
Inner (Ex-) Hardly any ageing. Bag present. No splits. real nice.
