I purchased this copy of Snow Goose back in the early 80's at Tower Records in N.Y.C.
It is one of about five I've collected over the years. This copy was played only once or twice. One or two of my other copies took a beating. Camel is one of my favorite bands, second or third with Jethro Tull being number one. This is my favorite Camel record, just ahead of Moonmadness. I played the Snow Goose often. Just not this one. I kept it stored nicely because it was a sharp Japanese pressing. It is still in fantastic condition. The obi strip has long been removed but is neatly tucked inside. There is a pristine insert inside as well that lists all the '74 /'75 Camel tour dates. It also highlights the band's musical family tree. Other facts as well, some in Japanese text. The VINYL has one very light, hair-like scratch through side two's first two tracks. This is very faint. So, I can't call this vinyl near mint, but that's all of it. Excellent +. Beautiful, original shine. Perfect labels. The COVER is Excellent + as well. Super clean! Front and back maintain a gloss. No discoloration. No split seams. It shows a trace of ring wear. It has a slight corner cut, as pictured above.
Classic Camel. It's never been taken through any marshes, great or small.
