Description
You are bidding on the out of print third album "Domestica" by Omaha, Nebraska math/emo rockers Cursive. Released in 2000 by Saddle Creek records, this was Cursive's coming-into-their own record, nine sophisticated songs about the polotics of love and hate. It was rumored the album was inspired by a band member's divorce. Musically the band stepped it up a notch from cookie cutter emo to more intrigueing songwriting and musical modes. This record has been out of print on vinyl, and this early very limited edition is on red wax, making it an even harder to find emo rock gemstone. Original pressing, original sleeve. This record has been cleaned on a professional grade VPI record cleaning machine. Having inspected the vinyl and sleeve under a 200 watt bulb, I would describe both as very good plus plus-- the vinyl is pressed on red, and has only some very slight marks which cannot be felt and do not effect play. The sleeve has slight and creasing, but is free of ringwear, discoloration, markings and other such demerits.This record is in overall fantastic shape.
This record will be shipped in a new cardboard mailer designed for shipping records, NOT in some jury-rigged postal box. We're all record collectors here at Jackpot Records and know firsthand the frustration in receiving a great record in terrible packaging. Priority mail shipping within the United States will be $8.00, which includes delivery confirmation and usually takes 2-3 days. International airmail shipping (4-15 days) is a flat $12.00 world wide. Due to the high cost of registering international shipments, we are unable to track any overseas shipments, and cannot be held responsible for items lost in the mail.
