You are bidding on the out of print 2001 EP "Burst & Bloom" by Omaha Nebraska's Cursive. Released by Saddle Creek records after 2000's impressive "Domestica" this five song mini record was a further step in Cursive's development into the indie rock powerhouse they've become since. This record features the introduction of cello player Gretta Cohn to the band, which definately took the songs up a notch. This ep kind of paved the way for "The Ugly Organ", and showed a band who was just getting better and better quicker than they could put out new music. The vinyl has been out of print for a while, making this a rare find. Original pressing, original sleeve and original insert is included. Be sure to check out our other Cursive auction up now, too!

This record has been cleaned on a professional grade VPI record cleaning machine. Having inspected the vinyl and sleeve under a 200 watt bulb, I would describe both as very good plus plus-- the vinyl has only some very slight, almost unnoticable marks which cannot be felt and do not effect play. The sleeve has slight and creasing and corner bending and a little bit of ringwear on the lowermost back cover, but is free of discoloration, markings and other such demerits.This record is in overall fantastic shape.

This record will be shipped in a new cardboard mailer designed for shipping records, NOT in some jury-rigged postal box.
