Description
Originally appearing as Live at Bar Maldoror in 1985, this was an 'in joke' studio album by C93 from 1985, with follow ups 'live' albums by Nurse With Wound and DIJ, with Coil adding a scattering of Bar Maldoror live tracks to Scatology and Gold is the Metal. C93 originally wanted the vocal sounds to play backwards as well as forwards but had to compromise a sonic vision to what was possible at the time. Today, that originally imagined sound is now possible and that's what you have here! Otherwise, the album retains its 1985 integrity.
Pressed here onto red and black coloured vinyl, held in a black DJ sleeve and then housed in a fragile paper bag, itself screenprinted with C93 illustrations. Inevitably these will eventually all wear, tear and fear the end. This one has already creased and gained a small tear to lower left... tis nothing!
