If you were to draw a Cure dream setlist, chances are - even though lots has changed since 1992 when they were on this Wish tour - it would look quite similar to this. It's an incredibly tight run of songs from the merchants of gloom and romance: 'Lullaby', 'Pictures Of You', 'Boys Don't Cry', 'Just Like Heaven', these aren't just some of the best Cure songs, they're some of the best songs ever written. It was an incredibly successful time for the band with more than 100 shows played in support of this ninth studio album of theirs. The musicians in the band at that point: Robert Smith, Simon Gallup, Porl Thompson, Boris Williams, and Perry Bamonte. This was the last album/tour for Porl Thompson and Boris Williams. Iconic doesn't cover it.
