Description

London Records stereo CS 6165, grooved red label with large FFRR logo and "Made in England..." text at the top of the label.  Pressed in England by Decca.  This is the London equivalent to the Decca SXL wideband ED2 label.  Stampers are 2E 2E.  Issued on the Decca label as SXL 2197, which is extremely rare and expensive.

Ruggiero Ricci plays the Bizet-Sarasate Carmen Fantasy, with Pierino Gamba and the London Symphony Orchestra.  Also includes the Sarasate Zigeunerweisen, Saint-Saens Javanaise and Introduction and Rondo Capriccioso.  See pics for program details.
