I'm offering the debut album of Crowded House released in 1986 by Capitol Records. In stereo. Length: 38:40, 10 songs of which five were released as singles. Only three charted in the United States: first was "World Where You Live" which peaked at #65. Followed by "Don't Dream It's Over" #2, and lastly "Something So Strong" #7. Catalog #ST-12485. In its original jacket and sleeve. I've owned this since it came out and have not played it. Condition is good: no skips, pops, crackling, scuff marks, or scratches. This has been stored upright in my album rack in my home. I worked in the entertainment business here in Hollywood and got a lot of records for free. Sometimes duplicates. The jacket is in good condition as well. The sleeve inside with song lyrics on one side is in good condition. Combine auctions and save on shipping.

Crowded House are a rock band, formed in Melbourne, Australia, in 1985. Its founding members were New Zealander Neil Finn (vocalist, guitarist, primary songwriter) and Australians the late Paul Hester who died in 2005 of suicide at age 46 (drums) and Nick Seymour (bass). Later band members included Neil Finn's brother, Tim Finn, and Americans Mark Hart and Matt Sherrod. Neil Finn and Seymour have been the sole constant members of the group since its formation. Active from 1985 to the present, Crowded House had consistent commercial and critical success in Australia and New Zealand and international chart success in two phases, beginning with a self-titled debut album that reached number 12 on the US Album Chart in 1987. "Temple of Low Men" was their second studio album. It provided five singles of which only the first one hit the US charts "Better Be Home Soon". They continue to release beautiful material including the new album this year called "Gravity Stairs" but fail to break the Billboard charts. ©Wikipedia
