CRICKETS That'll Be The Day CANADA BRUNSWICK 1st purple/silver star BUDDY HOLLY

The Crickets, That'll Be The Day b/w I'm Lookin' For Someone To Love.

Canada manufactured Brunswick Records large centre hole 7" housed in plain sleeve, 9-B-55009.

Earliest purple/burgundy label with silver print and star at 12 o'clock.

Vinyl visually around VG. Still has a high gloss but displays a few light hairline marks and scuffs. No deep digs or scratches.

Playback is nearer VG plus to the A side with some light intro crackle, else clean with no ticks or noticeable background noise. The B side is perhaps a VG as some minor crackle creeps in towards the end of the side.

Labels are clean and undefaced with fractional contact rubbing scuffing.

Sleeve VG minus, intact with an approx. two inch seam splits to centre of one side. Minor creasing and one tiny penned annotation to top corner. Residue from removed sellotape along bottom edge, but this not at all tacky and no splitting at this area.
