Description

Hi, I am a private collector selling part of my collection.
I will use visual and audio gratings. I have been a collector for many years and know how disappointing it is to receive a record that has not been properly graded. I hope to be very accurate as regards the audio as well as giving details of any hairlines/scratches on the vinyl. I will use the Record Collector Grading System and supplement this with additional information.  Every record is play tested on my Linn LP12. In the unlikely event that you are not happy with a purchase i offer a 'Returns Accepted' guarantee. (Buyer pays return postage). I will post worldwide and intend to only charge what it costs to package and post the item to the address.  Please wait for my invoice or contact me in advance of bidding.  All records will be posted in proper secure record mailers with the record separated from the cover and using cardboard stiffeners for extra security. Thank you
The record for sale is the 1969 First UK Pressing of Creedence Clearwater Revival. (Their first album). The record has the very first 1969 Blue Liberty Labels.. The matrix numbers are: Side one: LBS 83259 A1 420 11 Side two: LBS 83259 B1 420 111
The record is in superb NEAR MINT condition with NO marks/hairlines.. It plays a magnificent NEAR MINT with nothing to fault. Great listening experience with great songs such as ''I Put a Spell on You' and 'Suzie Q'.
There are a number of spindle traces in a small cluster near the spindle hole on the side 2 label. The spindle traces are more difficult to see on the side 1 label due to the texture of the paper.
This is a great pressing and sounds superb on my Linn deck with no deterioration in the sound quality. It would be difficult to find a better sounding copy as I think it plays very close to Mint.
The front laminated cover is in EXCELLENT condition. The front is very clean with just one crease line underneath the Liberty logo on the top right and a small corner bump (top right) see photo. The unlaminated reverse of the cover is near perfect except for some light handling signs at the opening edge. The spine with the first press 'pinched' endings is near perfect with all text clear
The record comes with a plain white poly-lined inner.
