• Other Info: This is a pretty strange one. Creation Unlimited is one of those church groups that consists of singers and a backing band (in this case electric and acoustic guitars, piano, bass, and drums). Side one has a concept piece called “Creation” that is pretty cool, complete with sudden, unexpected electric guitar outbursts and a poor mix of instruments that just adds to the basement charm. Stylistically the piece is all over the place, ranging from folk to psych touches. Side two has “Day by Day” and “You are the Light of the World” from Godspell, but also a cut called “This is the Message” that has a serious “Louie Louie” vibe going on.
Cover is in the shrink wrap. The inner sleeve has a signature by Kim and a crude drawing of a flute. This was presumably done by Kim Robertson, who plays solo echoed flute on the album’s first cut. She did the same on the side one label.
