CREAM ~ LIVE AT ROYAL ALBERT HALL, LONDON MAY 2-3-5-6, 2005 3LP VINYL BOX SET on Reprise Records (US)***OUT OF PRINT & SCARCE!***
This is the deluxe 3LP set taken from the smokin' 2005 Cream Reunion Shows, starring one of the original, and greatest, power trios, Ginger Baker (drums & vocal), Jack Bruce (bass, vocals, harmonica) and Eric Clapton (Guitar, vocals). Cream runs through all their hits with a totaly unexpected fire, a couple of cool surprises (Baker's jokey "Pressed Rat And Warthog" is one of the highlights), and the expected powerhouse blues numbers ("Spoonful", "Born Under A Bad Sign, "Rollin' And Tumblin"). Baker's massive drum solo on "Toad", will make you scratch your head wondering how such on old codger can cause such thunder!
Pressed on 180 gram, high-performance vinyl, half speed mastered, housed in a nifty embossed hard cardboard box. An awesome package!

This set sounds better than any CD possibly could! Beautifully pressed, housed in full color LP covers (I added the plastic inner sleeves), with all the track info on the back of each LP cover (There is no booklet, but there is an LP sized reproduction poster of the front cover).
CONDITION : A solid "A". The records were played once and burned to CD, I put the LP covers in plastic outer sleeves, the records themselves are in plastic inner sleeves, the box itself has been in plastic since I cracked open the shrink wrap. The open shrink wrap, with sticker, is still with the box. This is about as perfect as a box set can be!
