Description

Original 1967 CREAM "Fresh Cream"MONO 1st Pressing w/shrink RARE

What makes this album 'Rare'?

- ATCO Green/Gold label 33-206 with MO designation on bottom of each side
    - First MONO pressing
    - Dead wax matrix -AA and -AA
    - Original ATCO inner sleeve

I am not a record collector.  I acquired this album, along with the others I am listing, as part of a large lot of miscellaneous items I bought at an estate sale. Therefore, I will be starting every record listing at $5.  Also, I do not have a turntable, so all records are visually graded. Because I would rather err on the side
of caution, my evaluations are generally conservative (see below for grading scale specifics).

VINYL CONDITION - VG+ to VG++
There is one very light small surface mark on side one.  The vinyl is clean and glossy, labels are unfaded with no markings.

COVER CONDITION -
The original shrink wrap is in very good condition and has done a very good job of protecting the cover. Peeking under the shrink,  the colors and writing are bright and legible with no apparent degradation. All edges look good. Pretty impressive overall.

SHIPPING - USPS Media Mail - $4 for single disc album
I notice that alot of sellers ship their albums in 'record shipping boxes'.  Having worked in the past for UPS unloading their trucks, I can say in all honesty that they provide no better protection than if you do it yourself, if done correctly(which I do).
Those same sellers also ship the record itself outside of the original cover and sleeve to prevent damage to them due to movement during shipping.  I think that is a great idea and will package all records for shipping the same way.

SELLER, BIDDER,  AND BUYER RESPONSIBILITIES
As a Seller -

  •  any item I list should will be accurately depicted and honestly represented through a combination of clear,  unaltered photos and thorough descriptions.
  •  any item I sell will be packed in such a way that, barring any mishandling by the shipper, it arrives in the same condition it shipped in.
As a Bidder -
  •  I expect you to examine all photos and read all descriptions of the item in my listing, and to ask any questions you may still have about it PRIOR to placing a bid.
As a  Buyer -
  • I expect you to submit payment within 24 hours of the end of the auction, or contact me within the same time frame if, for some reason, you cannot.
Fulfilling the above responsibilities will insure the best possible experience for us all.

GRADING
I like the grading scale of Funkyousounds and use one based on that which is as follows:
    VINYL
  •  NM (Near Mint)    Like New, opened, and maybe played once or twice
  •  VG++    A record that has a few visual imperfections that will not affect the sound.
  •  VG+    A few more surface marks than a VG++. The record has been well taken care of and should play with very few audible imperfections.
  •  VG    The record will display light surface scuffs and marks. Expect some light surface noise in parts or a few clicks or pops here and there.
  •  VG-    The record may have some deeper audible and visual scratches. There will be some clicks and pops more consistently than that of a VG record but will play without skipping.
  •  G    The record may have some deeper audible scratches. There will be some clicks and pops more consistently than that of a VG record but will play without skipping.
  •  Poor    Records with this grade should be considered unplayable.

COVER -
For me, applying a grade to cover condition is akin to grading a baseball card, which is essentially a best guess. So instead of my applying a 'grade' to a covers condition, I instead will include photos of each cover along with a brief description of any abnormalities.
