NEWSAGENT'S DESCRIPTION

This listing is for an original 1969 U.S. promotional pressing of Goodbye, the fourth and final album by legendary British rock supergroup Cream, released by ATCO Records (SD 7001).

Featuring Eric Clapton, Jack Bruce, and Ginger Baker, the album serves as the band's farewell release, combining live performances recorded during Cream's final U.S. tour with three studio tracks produced by Felix Pappalardi. It includes the classic "Badge," co-written by Eric Clapton and George Harrison (credited as "L'Angelo Misterioso"), which became one of Cream's signature songs.

This rare promotional edition was distributed to radio stations and industry professionals ahead of the commercial release. This promo copy is housed in its original gatefold jacket, includes its original paper inner sleeve, and has been play-tested and ultrasonically cleaned.

Note: This copy does not include the poster originally packaged with this release.

NEAR MINT (NM or M-)

Vinyl looks freshly opened with full gloss and no visible marks, spindle wear, or surface noise. Sleeve is crisp and clean with no creases, seam splits, or ring wear.

Very Good Plus (VG+)

Vinyl shows light signs of use, possibly a few minor scuffs or hairlines that do not affect play. Sleeve may show slight wear, including light edge wear, a small crease, or minimal ring wear.

Very Good (VG)

Vinyl has visible surface wear and light scratches, with occasional surface noise but no skips. Sleeve shows moderate wear such as ring wear, seam splits, writing, or creasing.

Good (G), Good Plus (G+), or Very Good Minus (VG-)

Vinyl plays through without skipping but has varying degrees of heavy wear, significant surface noise, and visible damage or label defects. Sleeve is heavily worn, with large seam splits, major ring wear, heavy writing, and/or tape/sticker damage.

Poor (P) or Fair (F)

Vinyl is cracked, warped, or skips during playback and is typically unplayable. Sleeve is extremely damaged or destroyed, with severe tears, water damage, or missing elements.
