THIS IS A VERY RARE DEBUT ALBUM TITLED “DISRAELI GEARS“ OF CREAM IN MONO ON THE ORIGINAL UK REACTION LABEL.
 
THIS IS AN ORIGINAL 1967 UK EARLY MONO TRANSITIONAL PRESSING  THIS LP IS VERY RARE AND ALMOST IMPOSSIBLE TO FIND! IN FACT, THIS IS ANOTHER CREAM RARITY AND IS WITHOUT ANY DOUBT ONE OF THE RAREST UK CREAM LP RELEASED.
 
THIS LP HAS A INCREDIBLE DIFFERENCES COMPARED TO OTHER LATER PRESSINGS!  PLEASE DON’T UNDERESTIMATE THE RARITY OF THIS LP AND IT IS UNLIKELY TO TURN UP AGAIN FOR SALE FOR A LONG TIME!
 
FIRST - THIS LP HAS RARE Av1 - Bv1 MATRIX ENDINGS WITH 1 STAMPERS IN BOTH SIDES. LATER MONO PRESSINGS DO NOT HAVE A1 - B1 MATRIX.
 
SECOND - THIS LP HAS RARE “MISCREDITED” LABEL WHICH WAS ALMOST IMMEDIATELY CORRECTED.  IF YOU LOOK AT THE PICTURE OF THE SIDE 1 LABEL YOU CAN SEE THAT THE BOTTOM CREDIT (AT THE VERY BOTTOM OF THE LABEL) IS MISCREDITED TO 'WINDFALL MUSIC' WHEREAS ON ALL LATER PRESSINGS THIS CREDIT WAS CORRECTED TO 'IMMEDIATE MUSIC'
 
THIRD - ALSO ON THE SIDE 2 LABEL - IT HAS THE DATE '1967' - WHEREAS ON ALL LATER PRESSINGS THIS WAS SUDDENLY CHANGED TO '1966'!
 
FOURTH - IN THE BACK COVER HAS EVERY SINGLE ONE OF THE 'EARLIEST' 1ST PRESS DETAILS WITH THE 'EARLIEST POSSIBLE' REACTION LOGO (BOTTOM LEFT ON REVERSE) IN WHITE (LATER ONES WERE IN BLACK)

FIFTH - IN THE BACK COVER THE RIGHT HAND TRACK LISTING IS IN WHITE WHEREAS LATER COVERS HAD THIS IN BLACK. 

SIXTH - AS A TRANSITIONAL COVER THE TEXT 'MONO 593 003 IS PRINTED IN THICK BLACK TEXT IN THE TOP LEFT CORNER ON THE REVERSE OF THE UNLAMINATED COVER WHILST LATER PRESSINGS ARE BOXED.

ONLY THE 'EARLIEST POSSIBLE' 1967 MONO 1ST PRESSINGS OF THIS LP HAVE 1/1 MATRIX ENDINGS, 1 STAMPER CODES TO BOTH SIDES, RARE 'MISCREDITED' LABEL AND BACK SLEEVE WITH THE ABOVE MENTIONED DIFFERENCES. THESE ARE SERIOUSLY RARE AND VIRTUALLY ALMOST IMPOSSIBLE TO FIND!
 

THE HEAVY VINYL IS VISUALLY GRADED IN VERY GOOD CONDITION.  Please see below a description of grades and note that this vinyl is 49 years old that has been played and will not transform into anything different to the condition stated.
 

THE BLUE REACTION LABELS ARE IN VERY GOOD CONDITION WITH THE MISCREDITED WINDFALL MUSIC AND 1967 IN BOTH SIDES .

THE LAMINATED FRONT SLEEVE IS IN VERY GOOD PLUS CONDITION WITH EDGE AND CORNER WEAR.  
 
THE BACK SLEEVE HAS THE STEREO 594003 UNBOXED IN THE TOP RIGHT CORNER AND THE SONG TITLES IN BLACK ON THE LEFT AND WHITE ON THE RIGHT PLUS THE REACTION LOGO IN WHITE. 
 

THE SPINE IS COMPLETE BUT HAS FEATHERED DUE TO STORAGE.

Play-grading MONO records: Mono records and stereo records have different grooves. A stereo record produces a stereo sound via both lateral and vertical groove modulation whereas a mono record is not intended to produce any sound from vertical modulation. Playing a mono record with a stereo cartridge will create distortion because it is trying to pick-up the vertical (stereo) part of the signal, whereas this is not intended to be heard on a mono record and so is just noise.  Using a pre-amp with a mono switch will eliminate the noise caused by vertical modulation leaving just the lateral groove signal which is how the record was intended to be heard. If you do not have a mono switch on your amp or pre-amp you will be reproducing the noise from the vertical part of the signal and so the record will not sound as good. This is not any fault of the record, it is inherent to playing any mono record through a system that it was not designed for.

Visually-graded vinyl: A visual grading will identify physical flaws (such as scratches) and can help determine whether a record has been cared-for properly. A visual grading will not identify noise or crackle caused by non-visible sources. Most of the records I sell are between thirty and fifty years old and so it is likely that there may be some background noise even if they look perfect.

Mint                      
Cover - Looks new - no marks, wear or damage
Disc - Looks unplayed - no marks visible
 
Near Mint              
Cover - Looks virtually new with signs of handling- Minor wear creases but no marks or damage. Light sleeves may show slight discoloration due to age.
Disc - May have minor scuffs &/or hairline scratches caused by moving record in & out of paper sleeve
 
Excellent                
Cover - Slight signs of wear on edges/spine, corners or ring wear. No damage caused by sticker removal/residue.
Disc- The record has been played and has superficial marks &/or hairline scratches and paper scuffs.
 
Very good              
Cover - Moderate edge/spine or ring wear. Corners may be a little blunt. Opening edge may show feathering caused by removal of record. Visible creases or laminate lift. Localised sticker removal damage.
Disc - The record has been played frequently and has noticeable surface marks, occasional light scratches and paper scuffs.
 
Good                      
Cover - Heavy ring or edge/spine wear. Corners noticeable bashed. Heavy creases. Considerable laminate/surface damage.
Disc - The record looks very well played and the sound quality has probably deteriorated noticeably. A lot of  surface marks/scratches. Usually used as collection filler

Please note that, whilst it it comparatively rare for items to be lost or damaged in the post , my part of the transaction contract is legally completed as soon as the item is in the hands of the Post Office. I will not, therefore, accept responsibility for any loss or damage by the Postal Services. Whilst I am happy to provide help and advice, all such claims remain the responsibility of and must be made by the buyer.

If the bidding exceeds £20 in the UK will be sent by courier at a cost of £5.50 and internationally by international tracked postage at a cost of £14.50 for Europe and £17 for the rest of the world. If the bidding exceeds £50 and less than £250 in the UK the item will be ONLY sent insured by special recorded next day guaranteed delivery post (insured up to a value of £250) at a cost of £9 and by insured tracked postage at a cost of £16.50 for Europe and £18.50 for the rest of the worls. There will be no exceptions to these costs.
