CREAM SECOND ALBUM "DISRAELI GEARS" in MONO ON REACTION 593 003.

A 1 / B 1 VERY EARLY MONO PRESSING IN EXCELLENT CONDITION WITH FULLY LAMINATED FIRST ISSUE SLEEVE AND UNUSUAL LABEL CREDITS.

FIRST RELEASED IN NOVEMBER 1967, AN AMAZING PROGRESSIVE / PSHYCHADELIC ALBUM THAT ROCKED THE POP WORLD AND LAUNCHED CREAM INTO THE REALMS OF SUPER-GROUP STARDOM

As if you don't already know, the tracks are:

Side 1 : Strange Brew; Sunshine Of Your Love; World Of Pain; Dance The Night Away; Blue Condition.

Side 2 : Tales Of Brave Ulysses; SWLABR; we're Going Wrong; Outside Woman Blues; Take It Back; Mother's Lament.

Matrix Niumbers are, side 1 : 593003 A-1 followed by 1 and possibly a further 1 and side 2 ; 593003 B-1 followed by 1 and again a further 1.

Unusual, possibly very RARE Label Credits. Side 1 is credited to Dratleaf and Immediate, Side 2 is credited to Dratleaf and Copyright Control. I am led to believe that all A1/B1 copies of Disraeli Gears have Side 1 credits to Dratleaf and Windfall and Side 2 credits to Dratleaf and Apple, this was changed on stereo issues to Dratfield remaing on the credits with Immediate and Copyright Control replacing Windfall and Apple. Both Labels are dated 1967 which is correct for the Mono issues.

An Absolutely Fabulous Album by Cream, with the Legendary Line up of Jack Bruce, Ginger Baker and Eric Clapton who together recently enjoyed the anniversary reforming. Recorded and Released in 1967 this album stormed the Charts, and must be one of the greatest Progressive Rock Albums of all time. Every single track a masterpiece in its own right, (possibly with the exception of the dreadful Mothers Lament) from the huge opening impact of "Strange Brew" right through to "Take It Back". Undoubtedly a Masterpiece of British Progressive/Psych/Blues/ Rock

The Record is in very good condition, released on the original blue label of Reaction. The centre labels are very clean and show little signs of any wear, Labels are free from marks, other than normal spindle, No unwanted stickers, scatches, marks left by stickers etc. Both sides are in very good order.

The Vinyl is in excellent condition and is thick heavy duty, both sides are very clean, some feint very minor surface marks, no serious scratches or scuffs, the surfaces of the record are very good, some very light hiss/crackle to lead ins where needle has dropped and quieter tracks, (this record has been played of course and is almost 40!!), Classic Mono sound of the 60's. In all a great record with a Nice rich dark black gleaming Vinyl and classic Mono sound. Lovely solid 60's heavy duty vinyl with rim finished with the classic flat butt edge.

Geniune example of an Early pressing A1/B1 Mono Disraeli Gears with the Fully Laminated sleeve, an Album which is already a much sought after collectors classic.

The sleeve is in excllent condition. MONO to top left on rear, NO BAR code, It is the Front And Rear Fully Laminated Sleeve, manufactured by Ernest J Day & Co Ltd with Patent Pending. Rear sleeve has Reaction in white lettering to bottom left corner, Black and White Track Listings lettering to either side of the Eye. There are No creases, tears, writing, unwanted stickers, marks from stickers, grubby marks or rips on the sleeve, nice firm opening edges to sleeve. Both top and bottom outer edges are totally sharp and intact and in excellent order, the spine is rigid and crease free, No wear to the spine and most importantly all the Text is 100% intact. Slight Corner wear through storage to opening edges. No lifting of laminate surfacing. Superb virtually crease free sleeve. The Sleeve design must be one of the most famous, typifying the mid 60's Psychedelic Era in one Hit, a true artistic masterpiece, Pop History at its finest.
