Welcome to Across the Tracks Music Store
This auction is for a hard to find EP 12" album
by Cream
There are a couple of small things to mention in the description, so please do note all the details before placing a bid, to ensure that you are happy with everything.
This Album is called Cream On Top.
Catalogue number 2855 002 Stereo
Label: Polydor
As far as I am aware, this 4 Track EP / LP was only available by mail order, and some sort of promotion from milk and dairy purchases.
I don't know the full story as I'm too young to remember but it was something of this nature.
The release year is apparently 1971 but the record shows 1968 on the labels.
The 4 tracks on the album are: Side One: Badge Spoonfull
Side Two: Politician Toad .
I have played both sides of the record and I would grade it as a Very Good Plus at very least. It is probably Near Excellent.
There are some very slight start up crackles on track 2, side 1 which is Spoonfull, and the same on Track 1 on the B side, which is Politician. This is a live recording.
There are a few visible light scuffs and hairlines on the vinyl when viewed in a strong light.
None of these are deep or prominent or anything like that. The Album plays through really well.
Toad is a very long track, with a great drum solo, and Spoonfull is also a long track but really awesome.
Badge of course is a well known Cream song.
PLEASE DO NOTE that the sleeve is not in brilliant condition.
It has some brown foxing staining to the bottom edge. It has also been repaired at some stage. The back of the sleeve is mainly white which has gone a little bit yellow
The front of the sleeve is laminated, with a great photo of the band on the front.
The corners are creased mainly on the left hand side. The outline of the disc can be seen on the sleeve too.
If you want a highly graded sleeve, then this is not it ! I can only grade the sleeve as a Good.
But the vinyl itself is really fine & plays well.
This is a harder to find album now, and an essential part of Cream's discography for a collector

I use the Rare Record Guide for reference, as well as Discogs and other sources of reference, but also try to listen to every record on sale in the store, and we do not just visually grade.

Item returned must be the original item sent out to you, and we reserve the right to refer to eBay, or an appropriate third party, in the case of any discrepancy.
Once we receive & approve the return, we will refund the full purchase price to you.
