Description

German release of Verve Stereo V6-5008 recording of the Velvet Underground & Nico, produced by Andy Warhol and released in 1967.  Very controversial lyrics and sound with cuts such as Heroin, Waiting for My Man, Femme Fatale, Venus in Furs, All Tomorrow's Parties and I'll Be Your Mirror.  One of the most famous album covers of all time is by Andy Warhol.  Banana is fully intact.   Photos on back are of Warhol's famous Exploding Plastic Inevitable, a 'happening' that often accompanied early Velvet Underground performances.  One of the most highly collectible and memorable of all album covers.
