This record is in excellent condition. It has numerous spindle marks visible on the labels but there are no pen marks, scuffs, severe fading or staining anywhere. The centres are not loose or worn and overall the labels are in still in good shape but with the spindle marks as mentioned.
As for the vinyl itself, both sides have nothing serious or remotely deep showing but there are some superficial lines and signs of use/age evident in normal light. These light surface lines are minor but do show, especially under bright light. So overall this vintage used record is in good shape for its age with no nasty scuffs, serious marks or blemishes and a lovely vivid lustre.
I play tested the record and it played really well throughout. It lays flat on the deck and upon playing there is no movement in the record arm. The sound produced has no skips, sticks or disruptive clicks and overall was a pleasure to play test. There is some light surface noise in the intro or first 'track' on side 1 but this is more down to the original recording that the vinyl itself. There is also the odd splutter through both sides but nothing at all extreme and this is again most likely down to the original recording rather than issues to the vinyl. Overall the audio is a solid grade of EX with no major issues or serious interference and it was a very enjoyable listen throughout.
The sleeve is in very good condition. It has some rubbing and wear to the edges and corners but the writing along the spine is all clearly legible. There are no splits, scuffs or pen marks anywhere but there are two small tears to the front right(record entry) edge. Other than these there is also age related discolouring and grubbiness to both sides. This is most noticeable around the edges of the rear but there is some over both sides. Other than the discolouring and the tears the sleeve is tidy and solid enough with no major creasing or ring marks. Overall a strong vintage sleeve but one that has the small tears and the discolouring/grubbiness as mentioned. I have tried to describe the sleeve as best I can but please study the pictures provided to gain as much information as possible as to its condition.It includes its original poly-lined inner but this is tatty and grubby so the record will be sent in a brand new plain white replacement.
It also includes its original information booklet/insert. This is holding together but does have creasing, grubbiness/discolouring and also tear/split up the edges where it is folded.
The record will be packaged in cardboard stiffeners and bubble wrapped thoroughly when dispatched. It will also be sent in a brand new protective plastic sleeve, and within 24hrs of receiving payment to try to ensure a swift delivery.I hope my photos are comprehensive enough but if you have any questions then don't hesitate to contact me.
