Artist: Atos and his ensemble
Tracks: Monkoto Susu Aleli / Ekime Kangoy

Very early example (ca. 1948) of Congolese guitar rumba. The Kina label was extremely short lived - it very soon became the Opika label, an independent label based in Kinshasa. The birth of Afro pop right here. Two great guitar-based tunes in the style of Edouard & Oliveira, Leon Bukasa, and the other early practitioners of Congolese rumba. Impossibly rare disc - I've seen only a couple of Kina discs.

Condition: V++ to E--, numerous scuffs and marks, but plays strong (off ctr spindle hole, lbl tear)
