For me, this is one of the best things about record collecting. On these very, very rare occasions. An item will turn up that nobody even knew existed.This incredibly rare record right here, NEVER
BEFORE SEEN ON EBAY !!! Is exactly what hunting down the rarest of the rare is all about. As all collectors know its the UK and the USA pressings that always attract the highest prices, but  the pressings from other countries are also rising due to the fact that on occasion they can be many times rarer than the USA or UK issue, or as we have hear MANY TIMES RARER !! And far more times a superior  pressing altogether !!! This is the Acid Folk MASTERPIECE called FIRST UTTERANCE by COMUS from 1971. This is an insanely rare ( may even be a totally unique item). I have been collecting since 78 and not only have I never seen this pressing before. I dont know a collector that has even heard of its existence ! So rare, rare RARE , BEYOND BELIEF !!!! Unlike the Ultra rare English copy, this SUPER RARE Italian Promo pressing comes with an astounding Laminated gate fold sleeve. The affect the laminate has on the sleeve really is fantastic. Double click the pictures and see the spine, there is a tiny bit of damage near the word COMUS but thats it. On the inside of the gate fold someone has written their name and date,and other than that the sleeve  is in EXCELLENT condition. To me its always an added bonus when your buy a rare collectors record that you actually listed to it because the music is so brilliant. That is definatly the case here because what  a superb album this is with no filler at all.  Double click the pictures and have a look at the record labels.  Side one near the PYE logo there is the Radio Station Promo stamp. Both side one and two labels are in  EXCELLENT order. Both sides of the vinyl look astounding with a very high gloss luster sheen.A visual grade  would be Mint minus.Under a bright light its difficult to see hairlines they are so light when you do find one. There is i about 2 inches long on side one that goes between the first 2 songs but it has no affect on the play back.  There is the lightest static background noise in the quieter parts when your listening with a searching ear but the  playing of this heavy slab of vinyl is excellent. It plays without and jumps or skipping or sticking through the LP`s entirety. The vinyl is in EXCELLENT condition. Sometimes a record comes along that is so rare,so seldomly seen,that the sheer  rarity of the item, makes it exceptionally easy to look beyond the items very few short comings. I think that is the case  we have right here !!! To my knowledge, NEVER BEFORE SEEN ON EBAY ! Rare beyond belief !
