Description
Beautiful copy of Columbia stereo LP SAX 2471 on the turqouise/blue & silver label, 1/2 matrix suffixes, Mozart 'Haydn' Quartets, Vol.2, The Juilliard String Quartet.
Front laminated, flipback sleeve is in very nice condition. Laminate is clear and glossy and the flipbacks are very good, just a little loss on one flipback corner on the back, very minor. Each corner has a slight crush, and bottom right corner at opening edge has a tiny half-centimetre split along the bottom edge and a little corner laminate loss (again, very minor). Just a little edge age-browning and a few very light edge creases. These are really all minor points on a sleeve that has excellent colour, is structurally super, and overall grades EX.
Vinyl is in fabulous condition, extremely well-cared for; just a couple of the tiniest visible spindle marks on either label. On the vinyl, there are no noticeable marks on the playing surfaces and the audio quality is terrific. Just one light line on the dead wax at the end of side two. This really is a sterling example of this rare Columbia stereo LP and the vinyl certainly grades NEAR MINT!!
