Description
Hello and welcome to one of my auctions! I am a record collector for over 15 years now and I think it’s about time to sell a couple records to make some room and pass it on to another collector. This week’s auctions feature my Beatles, Rolling Stones and some progressive records that are form my own personal collection, so here we go!
On offer, a very rare U.K. pressing of Colosseum – Valentyne Suite on the SWIRL VERTIGO label, cat. no. VO 1.
The record is in VG+++ condition, there are some non-sounding hairlines and a couple visible, but non-sounding marks. The labels are in VG++ condition, there are a some spindle marks.
The cover is in VG+ condition, there is a tiny sticker tear and a two small marks (sticker residues) on the front. Besides mentioned damage there is nothing wrong with the cover; no writing, or other damage. Unfortunately the original Vertigo Swirl inner sleeve is missing.
Although not in a dream Mint condition, this first SWIRL release is getting very hard to find these days. I’ve been told that this is the second swirl pressing from 1970, because the label lacks “A Philips Record Product” (first pressings do have this credit), but this copy is harder to find than the first one. Most fans already had this record and their third album was coming up, so there was virtually no interest in their older work. So if you are a big fan of Colosseum, a Swirl Vertigo collector or a prog music fan, this is a real must have!

Within the European Union, the postage costs are £ 8.75, outside the E.U. £ 15.00 (sorry, but postage rates in the Netherlands are very high). Payment within 7 days after the auction has ended.
Please also note that the shipping costs are the same for 1 LP as for up to 5 LPs (the Dutch postal services charges the same amount up to 2KGs) So If you buy more, the shipping costs for your other LP’s are basically for free.
