Description

COLLECTION OF 12 BEATLES VINYL LP’s (including  the double “White Album” and Sgt Pepper’s Lonely Hearts Club Band)
A prized collection of Beatles albums (11 single and 1 double), which I’ve had since new.  All have been rarely played and very well looked after.  Unusually, these are complete with all the booklets, photos and cut-outs etc. included when originally purchased.
The 12” vinyl discs are in exceptional condition – I’ve always been paranoid about this and they’ve never been out of my sight!
The sleeves are also in excellent condition (as good as can be expected for their age) with just a few slight marks and creases from storage (see notes below and the photos).  The front of all 12 sleeves is shown in photo 1 and most of the reverse sides are in photo 2.
The following albums are included:
The White Album  Apple 1968  PCS7067/8 The double album they say no self-respecting vinyl collection should be without! Laminated outer gate-fold sleeve embossed “The Beatles” and printed with the unique serial number No.175748 – see photo 3 (with LP sides 1 + 4) 4 glossy “John Kelly” 8”x11” colour photos included (mint condition) – see photo 4 Huge poster (57cm x 86cm) also enclosed with all lyrics on reverse side (mint condition) – see photo 4 For inner sides of sleeve and LP sides 2 + 3, see photo 5 From the relatively low serial number and other details, I believe this is a sought-after, fairly early pressing – please see bottom paragraph about this below.
Sgt Pepper’s Lonely Hearts Club Band  Parlophone 1967  PCS7027 THE classic Beatles album with gate-fold sleeve – see photo 6 (outer sides of sleeve with LP side 1) Sheet of Sgt Pepper Cut-outs included (mint condion) – see photo 7 (with inner sides of sleeve and LP side 2)
Magical Mystery Tour  Apple 1967  SMAL2835   USA pressing by Capitol Records with gate-fold sleeve (the Capitol logo is on the spine) – see photos 8 + 9 24-page colour picture/cartoon book included – see photo 10 The bottom of some pages are very slightly creased/discoloured
Reel Music (Beatles film songs compilation)  Parlophone 1982  PCS 7218   Colour inner sleeve and 12 page colour “Souvenir Programme” included with a double page spread (photos and info) on each of the 5 films – see photo 11 (open on the “Help!” page) The original staples marked the centre of the pages slightly (now replaced and repaired) Slight damage to the bottom left corner of the outer sleeve
Help!  Parlophone 1965  PCS3071 Surface scuff mark on tracks 2, 3 + 4 of side one – see photo 12 I’ve no idea how this happened, but it still plays and it’s the only blemish I’m aware of on all 13 vinyls.
Yellow Submarine  EMI (Apple) 1969  PCS7070 Rear of outer sleeve is slightly marked – see photo 2
Beatles for Sale with gate-fold sleeve  Parlophone 1964  PCS3062
A Hard Day’s Night  Parlophone 1964  PCS3058
Revolver  Parlophone 1966  PCS7009
Rubber Soul  Parlophone 1965  PCS3075
Abbey Road  Apple 1969  PCS7088
Let It Be  Apple 1970  PCS7096
I’ve priced this whole collection at £349 because of the completeness, general condition and, I believe, some sought-after pressings.  I have a feeling this copy of The White Album could be worth the full price alone, but don’t have the expert knowledge to verify or guarantee this (see note below).  I'll leave this to you experts out there!
Believe it or not, there are over 600 pressings/versions of The White Album listed online, but this copy doesn’t match any of them in terms of the print details, matrix numbers and a very unusual anomaly on the record labels, as follows.  Some pressings say: An E.M.I. Recording on one line at the top left of the disc label and some have it in brackets and inverted commas: ("An E.M.I. Recording") on 2 lines.  Some versions have this differently on the 2 discs, but all listed versions have it the same on each side of the same disc.  On this copy, however, it is printed the first way on sides 1, 2 + 3 and the other way on side 4 only (so has it a different way on each side of the same disc) which, as far as I can see, is extremely rare!  (You can see this by comparing photos 3 + 5.)
UK buyers only please.
Because of the weight and value, I’ve listed this as Collect in Person only (cash on collection preferred) but I would be prepared to send by Special Delivery (UK only), so full postal insurance is included.  However, the packed weight is 4kg, so the cost of special Delivery is £26.60 – please enquire if this is your wish.
