Welcome to 'Its the vinyl countdown' music auctions. Here you will find some of the most incredible rare records and music memorabilia for your collection. We pride ourselves on auctioning only the highest grade records and items, you will not see anything listed here below EX+ condition, unles the item is extremely rare. You will not see worn covers, warped records or scratched records. We simply do not bother with them.
We list in many cases, 'Archived' & 'mint' condition items, we are able to source from private collections all over the UK. So we hope you can be put at ease that what you are bidding on is of the highest quality.
We play through most of the records, unless the item is clearly mint, or sealed..in which case we don't play them, thus maintaining their 'unplayed' status! Obviously with some of these rare items there will be the odd 'anomoly' along the way , the odd little static pop or lead in 'sizzle' for a split second.. nothing is perfect we find! all systems differ, but we aim to describe these as accurately as possible for you.... THE VINYL MINT- INCREDIBLE CONDITION
A superb first pressing vinyl which has been archived away since 1972, the vinyl remains in stunning condition, and sounds amazing.
This first pressing is a superb vinyl which has retained its amazing glossy sheen and finish. There is no dulling anywhere and overall it is in incredible condition for an LP of this age.
A couple of very feint shiny spider lines around the centre hole, NO WEAR AROUND THE HOLE!
The vinyl has been played a handful of very careful times, and there are no signs of wear or marks anywhere on the vinyl- it is quite astonishing.
A few little whispy lines and a couple of tiny hairlines.
The sonic sound of it really is incredible. We heard just the tinist of lead in static, the tiniest of static in a couple of places along the way, no jumps sticks or distortion.
A STUNNING LISTEN..THE CLEANEST WE HAVE HEARD.
OVERALL THIS IS SIMPLY A MUST FOR ANY FINAL UPGRADE COLLECTION. YOU WILL NOT SEE BETTER.

VERY RARE FIRST 'TEXTURED' FINISH WITH THE WIDE PROUD SPINE....LATER SLEEVES WERE GLOSSY FLAT FINISH.

THIS IS A BEAUTY - SO HARD TO SEE A CLEAN UN 'RUBBED' COPY
THIS ONE HAS ..NO WEAR, SCUFF, OR SQUASH- AS GOOD AS YOU WILL EVER SEE!
The edges are all super clean with just a couple of tiny spots/ traces of rub, at all , and all colours and inks remain in outstanding condition
A couple of tiny little spider lines over the edges in a few places only.
No powdery white ringwear or even ring press of any note, and all edges are super crisp.
The texturing and colouring is outstanding.
The open edge remains in immaculate sharp condition with just a couple of tiny spots of feathering.. One tiny thumb crease on the bottom open edge
The spine edge sits proud and has squash or wear! This type of square spine is typical of these first edition sleeves, and all legends are perfectly readable. A couple of spots of tiny rub.
We cannot add any more than this!
FINDING ONE THISD GOOD IS NIGH ON IMPOSSIBLE, AND SUCH A RARE RECORD TO SEE AT ALL.
