Description
For auction is COLEMAN HAWKINS' "The High and Mighty Hawk", on Felsted FAJ 7005, MONO, 1958.
It has been machine-cleaned and I listened to side A completely and side B partially. The sound was beautiful, just great!
Visually, the vinyl is superb, at least NM- with no flaws to report. Labels are clean and un-scuffed. This record is deep-grooved on both sides.
The sleeve is VG+ (probably better) with no flaws of note other than a bit of writing on the reverse. It's clean, with solid seams and corners all around.
The photos are of the exact record up for bids. Look before you bid, ask if you want any additional info or pics.
A terrific record, in fabulous condition. No reserve, bidding starts at $20.
Every record I auction has been cleaned on a Nitty Gritty vacuum/cleaner. I played every record to determine if there are static, tics, pops, hisses, what have you. I endeavor to thoroughly report any extraneous audio "noise" or problems of any significance. Other than that, I will report on the general condition of each record, both vinyl and jacket, according to Goldmine standards, to the best of my ability.
Every record is put into a new, clean sleeve insert. In the case of an interesting original sleeve insert, I'll include that in the sale.
If you're into this stuff, you might want to save me to your seller's list and check back periodically. I'll be putting a lot of vintage jazz records up for auction.
