Working diligently with my librarian hat on. I am really proud of how well we took care of our things and collectables…just kinda forgot. We have hundreds of quality pieces…some seldom seen especially in the U.S. Some are rare or at least hard to find. I welcome International Buyers…I know you have to pay high taxes for both countries …and it takes forever, but collecting is like that, I know.

If the record/tape/whatnot is a mess - you will know about it and see it, if it was a cut out, I will show and tell.  Nonsmoking home, original owners (okay a few finds in thrifting Years ago)...Happy to pass on to someone who wants it.

WE HAVE A WORKING REGA TURNTABLE, A GOOD NEEDLE AND A DOUBLE TAPE DECK -WE SPOT CHECK MOST EVERYTHING.

Elizabeth Fraser named the album after a peak in southern Utah called Bluebell Knoll.

The band’s first full studio album to be released in America was also their first major label release. In October 1988, after signing a distribution deal with Capitol Records, the Cocteau Twins released Blue Bell Knoll. Though still attached to 4AD, the Capitol deal allowed for far better distribution of the new album (the older material still remained imported until the mid ’90s) as well as the double advantage of lowering the price of the album by almost half the cost of imported albums.

The Cocteau Twins packed up and headed for the US to record this LP for Capitol Records. Apparently, Ivo Watts-Russell and the 4AD gang didn't have Fraser, Guthrie, or Raymonde feeling all that special, so off they went. What comes of this inaugural album is a wonderful collection of trademark Fraser/Guthrie plus Raymonde tunes. Fraser's vocals are stellar. Guthrie is finding his voice with his treated guitar and Raymonde performs exceptionally as he manages the bass throughout the record. Per the usual... I defy anyone to quote the lyrics without a "google" search! Here's my suggestion: The 80s as heard via the 4AD label unquestionably gave the world some very incredible music. The Cocteau Twins being one label band at the top of the list. While this record is not their best, it provides continuity as the discography grows.  How can you go wrong with a song title such as The Itchy Glowbo Blow?
