Description
Available here is an original 7” single by Cock Sparrer - England Belongs To Me b/w Argy Bargy. A 1st pressing, it was issued in the UK by Carrere in 1982 and bears the catalogue number CAR 255. It would also appear to have been originally sent out as a promotional item in that a folded period compliment slip and letter from the record company is also present. .
Identifiers - The record bears the following marks -
Matrix/Runout - A-Side - Stamped - CAR 255 A-1U-1-1-1 - Etched - JA TAP (? Last letter unclear)
Matrix/Runout - B-Side - Stamped - CAR 255 B-1U-1-1-4
Record Condition - Very Good+ - Possibly a conservative grading … the record is largely bright and clean but with a couple of light surface marks. I’ve listened to both sides and can confirm that there is no jumping, sticking or clicks and virtually no background crackle present.
Sleeve Condition - Very Good - Original picture sleeve with a two-inch side split and disc impression marks.
