What you are bidding on is an original first pressing of CLYDE HANKINS: Swing Fever album on a privately pressed record from 1956. MEGA RARE Buddy Holly related album from the 50's!
LP was recorded at Norman Petty Studios 1313 West 7th Street, Clovis New Mexico. Recording features both instrumental and vocals tracks by Clyde Hankins, who also plays guitar and banjo various tracks. Clyde Hankins worked in Adair Music in Lubbock, Texas and was the person who sold Buddy Holly his first Fender Stratocaster guitar after Holly saw Hankins using the Strat to give music lessons in the store. Hankins demonstrated the guitar to Holly and also gave him advice on the features of the instrument along with showing him some chords.
