BRAHMS

Violin Concerto in D, op 77

Ida Haendel - Violin

The London Symphony Orchestra

conducted by Sergiu Celibidache

HMV/EMI Records. UK. 12" Vinyl LP. 33rpm. STEREO. Cat no : CLP 1032. Made in England

SLEEVE CONDITION : Original fully laminated double flipback sleeve -Excellent - a few small nicks and a little lifting of laminate to opening edge

VINYL CONDITION : Near Mint - there are a few non-sounding sleeve removal marks - this record is in remarkable condition and an absolute pleasure to listen to - put the needle on the record and listen to that silence we are all searching for! I have just listened to this LP right through - it is a delight!!

NOTES ABOUT ITEM DESCRIPTIONS :

All vinyl is VISUALLY graded under a grading light. I simply don't have the time to listen to all the records I list all the way through. I am  happy to PLAYGRADE a record through checking for defects on request. All photographs are of the actual item for sale and are taken at the time of listing.

I use the RECORD COLLECTOR grading system (outlined below). Please note that I never list an item as MINT - I don't believe such records exist!!

MINT - The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition. Records advertised as Sealed or Unplayed should be Mint.

EXCELLENT - The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing.

VERY GOOD - The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable.

GOOD - The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discoloration, etc

PACKAGING :

Items are removed from their outer sleeves and wrapped in plenty of high quality bubble wrap. The item(s) are then securely packaged in a 13" square cardboard box to ensure that the item is durable and watertight. The package is clearly marked as fragile.

SHIPPING :

Within the UK I ship 1st class at cost with a GBP 0.50 charge to cover the cost of packaging.

Internationally I ship at cost + a charge of GBP 0.50 for packaging materials + a 5% (of this amount only) surcharge to cover costs incurred by Paypal.

A POSTAGE DISCOUNT for multiple items is always offered on these terms.

RETURNS :

I will always offer a full refund (including postage) if you are unhappy with your purchase for any reason. However I do not offer a refund for non-receipt of items but will assist in any way possible in obtaining compensation from the Royal Mail. Please note that standard postage / airmail only covers items for up to £34.00. If you require further insurance then please ask and I will arrange it.
