From my own personal collection I am pleased to offer an exceptional MINT- example of the debut studio album by CLIFFORD T. WARD titled “SINGER SONGWRITER”, Catalogue Number 2310 216 SUPER. This is an ORIGINAL 1972 UK STEREO 1st PRESSING on JOHN PEEL’S DANDELION RECORD LABEL (marketed by Polydor), with a stunning 1st ISSUE E. J. DAY SLEEVE. Complete with the correct white poly-lined inner sleeve. [The matrix numbers are the earliest A//1, B//1].
The un-laminated single sleeve is in EX condition with only very light wear and couple of minor creases.
The top quality Dandelion record is in MINT- condition. It’s a very solid pressing with a thick square-cut rim edge. The picture labels are like new with only a few short spindle traces each side. The audio playback is faultless with no deterioration in sound quality and virtually no unwanted noise at all. You simply will not find a better-playing copy of this wonderful album – I guarantee it!
The inner sleeve is in unmarked EX+ condition.
Overall this is an exceptional 1st press copy of Clifford T. Ward’s rarest album. Almost impossible to find like this!
GRADINGS
The records that I offer for sale have been critically play-graded, at loud volume, on a Rega P5 turntable fitted with an Elys 2 cartridge. I will only sell records that play to a high standard. My gradings are strict and in accordance with the following descriptions:
· MINT- Record is superb, almost like new, with just a few sleeve removal type surface marks and no deterioration in sound quality. Sleeve is near perfect in all respects.
· EX Record is a top quality example, with just a few very light surface marks which do not sound, and barely any discernable deterioration in sound quality. Sleeve has slight wear and/or creasing.
· VG Record has some visual surface marks, but still plays to a high standard without any major deterioration in sound quality – just a few clicks or light surface sound in places. Sleeve has normal wear and tear without any major defects. Still a very presentable sleeve.
