CLEM ALFORD – MIRROR IMAGE – SCX 6571

EMI/Columbia 1974 stereo LP, catalogue number SCX 6571, with the title "Mirror Image – the Electronic Sitar of Clem Alford." All compositions on the record are by Clem alford. In Mirror Image (Dawn of a New Day) on side 1, Clem Alford plays the electronic sitar, with Alan Branscombe (piano & Fender electronic piano), Amancio D’Silva (guitar), Toni Campo (bass guitar), Harold Fisher (drums). And in Ragas on side 2, Alford plays sitar & tanpura with Kershav Sathe playing tabla.

The disc is really excellent, clean and shiny. There is a 0.5cm inaudible light scratch on side 1 plus occasional barely visible hairline marks. Sleeve is very good but there is evidence of removal of round sticky label on front, plus grubby marks on rear and light record impress.
