Description

For auction is CLAUDE WILLIAMSON's self-titled "Claude Williamson," on Bethlehem BCP 54 MONO, 1956.
It has been machine-cleaned and I listened to both sides complete. There is light surface noise throughout the recording, with a few random, soft ticks now and then. In general, these flaws are minor, i.e., they don't detract from the music or listenability of the record. The exception is B/3, "Embraceable You", when there is a more systematic tick that is quite evident on this soft-volume cut. I just want to be complete and transparent! Overall, the record sounds good and is thoroughly enjoyable!
Visually, the vinyl is VG+, with no significant flaws to report. Has DG both sides.
The sleeve is VG+ or better, with no flaws of note other than minor fraying on corners. It's clean, with solid seams all around. Retains sheen on laminated front, and back is unblemished other than 2 "promo" stamps, and owner's name in pen.
The photos are of the exact record up for bids. Look before you bid, ask if you want any additional info or pics.  A nice record, in nice condition. No reserve, bidding starts at $10.
Every record I auction has been cleaned on a Nitty Gritty vacuum/cleaner. I played every record to determine if there are static, tics, pops, hisses, what have you. I endeavor to thoroughly report any extraneous audio "noise" or problems of any significance. Other than that, I will report on the general condition of each record, both vinyl and jacket, according to Goldmine standards, to the best of my ability.
Every record is put into a new, clean sleeve insert. In the case of an interesting original sleeve insert, I'll include that in the sale.
If you're into this stuff, you might want to save me to your seller's list and check back periodically. I'll be putting a lot of vintage jazz records up for auction. I'm not a collector, nor an audiophile, but I think they are desirable if you're into this kind of material.  Click "see other items" and thanks for looking!
