This listing is for a rare USA pressed LP title - a SEALED and assumed to be in MINT overall condition LP, PRESSED and ISSUED by Classic Records. The LP jacket is in a plastic outer sleeve and the sleeve is sealed with a sticker printed and made by Classic Records that is affixed to the top seam of the plastic outer sleeve. We've never seen this done before, but since the sticker has been applied by Classic Records, we are assuming that the LP is new, never played and near mint. CONDITION Details -
- Pressed in the USA by Classic Records, this LP title is assumed to be in mint overall condition as it is SEALED. The LP jacket is in a plastic outer sleeve with a plastic sticker applied to the top seam, made and printed by Classic Records. We have never seen this type of seal on one of their records, but as the seal was applied by Classic Records, we are assuming that the LP is new and never played. We have NOT broken the seal to remove the jacket and LP to inspect it. See our pictures with this listing as they are of the actual item.
- This audiophile re-issue came out in 2006, the original LP was issued in 1980.
- Jacket has NO seam splits and NO major damages that we could see. The outer plastic sleeve is in mint shape as well, with NO tearing. This is a superb example of a reissued vintage LP title.
- The vinyl weight, as indicated by a HYPE sticker comes in at 200-grams, made with Classic Record's "QUIEX SV-P" hand made, super vinyl profile. Very limited quantities were made of this audiophile reissue for worldwide sales, and it sold out quickly. As such, this title is LONG out of print.
- We can't be certain of the matrix/run-out information as the item is sealed and can't be checked until it's opened and inspected.
- Always clean your LPs for best results - even brand new, sealed items.
- This is an archival example of this rare item!
A Short Note About LP GRADING -
- Mint = Only used for sealed items.
- Near Mint = Virtually as new, just not sealed.
- Near Mint Minus = Item has some minor imperfections, some audible.
- Excellent = Item obviously played and enjoyed with some noise.
- Very Good Plus = Many more imperfections which are noticeable and obtrusive.
Always properly clean your LPs before playing them - even brand new, sealed titles!
The LP is an audiophile quality pressing (any collector of fine MFSL, half speeds, direct to discs, Japanese/UK pressings etc., can attest to the difference a quality pressing can make to an audio system).
